The mission of the Ignatian Spirituality Center of Kansas City is to assist people of varied faith traditions to explore and deepen their relationships with God in Jesus Christ. The Center bases its ministry on the Spiritual Exercises and spirituality of St.Ignatius Loyola. As people throughout our community – on both sides of the state line – have increasingly sought personal spiritual growth and yearned to grow in their relationship with God, The Ignatian Spirituality Center of Kansas City has been addressing their needs with an array of Ignatian-centered programs. From group experiences of a few hours to individual spiritual guidance in the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life over the course of nine months, the Center offers programs to meet people’s needs at different stages of their spiritual journeys. In addition, we offer ongoing training and mentoring for those who would be prayer guides. The Center invites those in the community who seek spiritual growth and direction to visit with us to explore the ways open to them.
St. Louis, MO The Saint Louis Ignatian Spirituality Network 4511 West Pine Boulevard St. Louis, MO 63108 Telephone: 314.361.7765 Website: isnstl@jesuits-mis.org
The Saint Louis Ignatian Spirituality Network is an association of programs and organizations in the Saint Louis area inspired by the life, writings, and spirituality of Saint Ignatius Loyola (1491-1556), founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). Our collaboration arises from a commitment to support programs in Ignatian spirituality and in so doing encourage ourselves and others to live that spirituality in practice. We build networks of mutual support, promote a common vision of service, and foster new and closer forms of cooperation. We do so consistent with the nature of our diverse and complementary calls to holiness. As apostolic partners we carry on this ministry out of an acknowledged responsibility for Christ’s mission in the world and our desire to join people of good will in the service of God’s Kingdom.
