Volunteer Opportunities
“The Society of Jesus acknowledges as a grace of our day and a hope for the future that laity ‘take an active, conscientious, and responsible part in the mission of the Church in this great moment of history.’ We seek to respond to this grace by offering ourselves in service to the full realization of this mission of the laity, and we commit ourselves to that end by cooperating with them in their mission.” General Congregation 34, Cooperation with the Laity in Mission The Missouri Province proudly sponsors the following service organizations: Alum Service Corps Founded by the Jesuits of the Missouri Province in 1991, the Alum Service Corps (ASC) offers a way for men and women graduates of Jesuit high schools to “give back” in gratitude for their Jesuit education. The St. Louis IVC community admits volunteers in September and January.
