The staff of the Midwest Jesuit Archives invites researchers to use the collections. Patrons may visit the archives, submit the online Archives Inquiry Form, or direct their questions to the staff by e-mail, letter, or telephone. In any request, please include the following information: name, mailing address, e-mail address, fax number, and telephone number, as well as the name, subject, location, and time period of the topic. The staff will provide up to one hour of research on behalf of an inquirer. We will then consult with you within three weeks about your research topic. The researcher may then either choose to visit the archives or make other arrangements.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to examine the unrestricted materials in the collections. The staff is sensitive, however, to the challenges of travel involved in historical research. We may provide a patron with up to ten photocopies of material in the collection upon receipt of the completed Application of Use and the Conditions for Publication forms. The cost is $5.00 for the first photocopy and $1.00 for each additional one. The cost to scan each photograph or slide is $20.00.
